Common Symptom
E1
Door switch fault
Medium
The dryer displays E1 and refuses to begin a cycle because the control board cannot confirm the door is securely closed.
View
E9
Control board fault
High
The control panel shows E9 and most or all buttons stop responding. The dryer may be stuck in a permanent fault state.
View
F1
Drum thermistor fault
Medium
The display shows F1 continuously or flashes the code during a cycle, and the dryer may pause or stop drying.
View
F2
Exhaust thermistor fault
Medium
The panel displays F2 and the dryer may stop mid-cycle or refuse to start a new one until the fault is cleared.
View
F3
Heater thermistor fault
High
The dryer halts the cycle and cuts power to the heating element as soon as F3 is detected, as a fire prevention measure.
View
F4
Heating element fault
Medium
The dryer tumbles normally but produces no heat. F4 is shown on the control panel at the start of or during the cycle.
View
F5
Airflow restriction fault
High
The dryer detects insufficient exhaust airflow and displays F5. On many DE/DH models it will shut down immediately to prevent overheating.
View
F6
Moisture sensor fault
Low
The in-drum moisture sensor returns incorrect readings, causing the controller to terminate auto-dry cycles prematurely with clothes still damp.
View
F7
Drum motor fault
Medium
The dryer heats but the drum fails to rotate. In most cases the control board detects zero tachometer signal and displays F7 within the first 30 seconds of the cycle.
View
F8
Blower motor fault
Medium
The control board detects insufficient blower motor output and halts the cycle. On models with separate drum and blower motors, the drum may still turn briefly before shutdown.
View
HC1
HP condenser overheat fault
High
The dryer halts mid-cycle and displays HC1. The heat pump compressor is shut down immediately when this code appears.
View
HC2
Water tank full
Low
The dryer pauses mid-cycle and displays HC2. On most DH models the cycle can be resumed immediately after the tank is emptied.
